Grand Café deSingel has a generous incidence of light and offers an almost surrealistic view over the motorway and the railway. The space is split up by the bar into a quiet restaurant part and a lively brasserie part. The aim is to offer the visitors of the campus, as well as the artists, the possibility to eat a quick snack before or after the performance. On other occasions a more extensive dinner is possible, a tasty lunch, or an excellent breakfast. Grand Cafe deSingel also wants to attract the neighbours and companies in the vicinity for their family or business affairs.
Reservations for breakfast are placed in the brasserie. Lunch and dinner reservations are placed in the restaurant. Snacks are consumed in the brasserie, without reservation.
The kitchen is directed by Jessy Huysmans and Jody Appeltans. By means of their ultramodern kitchen they guarantee a qualitative gastronomy. The menu offers a well cared for breakfast, savoury sandwiches, healthy salads and decent restaurant dishes. Classics as well as culinary crackers figure on the varied menu, completed by suggestions for seasonal products. The wine list offers a wide choice of French and world wines.
